I love the transformative qualities of forgiveness. When we forgive others, and when we
forgive ourselves, it is a new beginning for our lives. Like a flower emerging from the earth,
forgiveness fosters new life where none existed before.
God too forgives us of our sins, to allow for new growth. Rather than staying buried beneath the
burdens, through forgiveness we are given strength to sprout through the dirt
into beautiful children of God.
